I don’t think anyone does. But, that's how it goes for some people.

I wish I had some kind of special talent that I could sell to others. The beauty of doing what you love whilst being able to financially provide for yourself just seems so amazing, so romantic. It’s almost storybook, in a way.

But, sadly, it’s not in the stars for most people. Most of us will be corporate wage-slaves our entire lives. Sad, isn’t it? So much human potential, wasted in front of industrial-sized stove tops and in office cubicles.

I really envy you people on this site that get steady commission streams and run Patreons or whatever else it is that you do, you know? I know it's not all sunshine and rainbows, and I know it can actually get really, really hard sometimes. But, still, being able to make any kind of extra money (or even making your craft a full-time job) off of something you do for fun? None of you will ever realize how jealous I am of someone like that, whether it be an artist, a musician, an athlete, or what have you.

So, don't ever give up on your talents or skills - it can carry you places. It can carry you to places other people that do not have that talent will never, ever reach, no matter how much they want to.

Hey everyone, just thought I'd drop a ltitle journal here to advertise my favorite artists/creators on DeviantArt. So, if you'll check them out (if you haven't already), it would mean a lot to me, and them, of course!

Now, if your name's not on this list, please don't be mad! I love and support all the artists I watch on this site, but this list is for artists that I've known for a while and have at least a somewhat deeper connection with, and whose art styles I really admire.

What the hell?

Hey everyone, I was just sitting here, and started wondering if anyone would be interested in those ideas. So, I figured, I might as well "open" them for anyone who is interested.

Character Asks: You know the drill here- you ask one of my characters something, and they 'answer' you with an accompanying image.

Image Requests: Like it sounds- drop me a request for a picture of one of my characters doing something, wearing something, being somewhere, or any combination of the three, and I'll do my very best to figure it out and take it for you. BUT understand that I may not have the tools to fulfill a request, and I reserve the right to decline after I've tried my hand at it and failed (which I don't think will happen, honestly).

So, anyway, feel free to send either of these to me. Send Requests via Notes and send Asks via Comments on any picture or this very Journal Entry, but a Note would work okay for an Ask, too, I guess.

Okay, that's all. I figure I might as well try this stuff out, see if I get any hits. If I do, awesome, I'd love to try and get imaginative with people; might be good mental exercise. If not, that's fine, too.
